- Gadgets: Digital Photo Printer
Anyone have any recommendations on a quality Digital Photo Printer? I’ve been looking at a host of Epson and HP options but don’t know what to go with. I’ve traditionally been an Epson man. But I feel as if HP has really caught up to Epson in terms of quality.
Here are my requirements:Should print both [...]
- And So, We Purge
I sometimes like to take key words from my blogs and look up the actual definition on dictionary.com, if only to prevent my daily misuse of the English language from embarassing me more than I already do. I looked up “purge,” and the first definition was what I was after… but then it got into [...]
- Thanksgiving Morning
This morning we awoke to a light coating of snow. Our first snow of the 05-06 Winter. It just so happens that today is Thanksgiving. I grabbed my camera before Bessie and I headed out for her 6:30 a.m. walk. Bessie has always loved the snow. Since we rescued her 6 years ago, the snow [...]
- That’s ArtEEst to You!
I’ve gotten pen marks on my face two days in a row now. Luckily they’ve washed off pretty easily.

- Slogan Generator
GKB sent me this Brit-run Advertising Slogan Generator. The way it works is you enter in a word and it will incorporate that word into an ad slogan. After you get your slogan you can refresh the page to see another… and another… and another… I took it one step further and added it [...]
- Putting In A Window
As I was driving home last night from a terribly long day at work, I heard the deep, soothing voice of Garrison Keillor reading a poem on NPR’s 5-minute show The Writer’s Almanac. The poem he read, Putting in a Window, was written by John Brantingham and it calmed my nerves from the day and [...]
- New Blog Design
My wife Kate [cozy blog] likes to poke fun at me and tell me that everything I design I make blue. Although patently untrue, it is easy to see how one can think this. Some of my more well received design work has been based on a color palette of blue and white. I like [...]
