Fell asleep last night wondering why my pajama pants have pockets. What exactly would one keep in their pocket while they slept? Any ideas?

It’s really difficult to draw/sketch an 18-month old – EVEN when you have the distraction of Elmo. They just never stop moving.

Had a very nice Valentine’s dinner last night. I downloaded several recipes off allrecipes.com, went food shopping and then came home and cooked me & my Valentine a delicious meal. Kate got us some really great desserts from our local French Bakery (or, Freedom Bakery if you prefer). And to top off the Valentine’s Day Dinner Extravaganza… I did the dishes!

Trying out the MORE function in WordPress on my longer posts (see two previous posts). The MORE function inserts the “continue reading this entry” link at a place of my choosing. I think it’s handy as it allows less scrolling on the main page. Let me know what you think.

hmmm….I’ve wondered the same thing about babies’ clothes having pockets…especially the ones that are slits in the side of the pants.
Thanks for taking care of everything – you were a great valentine! (You forgot to mention that you took out the recycling and took care of the rabbit.)

Hey Kenny,
First I’ve responded and maybe only the second time I’ve gone to see your “blog”. Us old folks aren’t used to these things. :>)
Pockets in pajamas………..that elicited a response. Maybe you are too young………glasses, tissues come to mind immediately. Those are what I find in my bathrobe pocket all the time. A lot of people wear their pajamas around the house………pockets aren’t meant just for use while sleeping, don’t you think? I wouldn’t know………..can’t even sleep with blankets these days.
Glad to hear you had a nice Valentine’s Day. I cooked a nice dinner for Harvey although it was late as he had been on the road all day visiting customers and then I convinced him to go with me to the hospital to give Nana some roses. He wanted to help cook but I could see he was exhausted. “allrecipes.com”? That’s a new one for me. I’ll have to check it out.

I guess I didn’t consider the “lounging” function of pajamas. They’re not just sleepwear I suppose.
allrecipes.com is pretty neat. Would love to hear what you think of it though!

I use allrecipes all the time. Actually, it was all I used until Aunt Judi told me about epicurious.com.
Actually, when I asked Mike about the PJ pants thing, his immediate response was tissues as well. I guess that means we are in the old folks category now. He also made the comment that they are not just for sleeping. He wears them around the house too.
