Dry Dock

When we got home last night, it was raining and so I decided to leave the new canoe on the car overnight. Afterall, the bottom of the canoe seemed like it could get wet without serious consequences…
This morning, I got to work on our garage and cleaned it up a bit to make room for the canoe. I didn’t have much trouble lifting it off the car alone – which is something I was a little afraid of.
Here she is in her temporary “dry dock” until we figure out a more realistic storage arrangement.

Hmm… looks like that canoe could take more than you for a ride:

I never figured you for a pink canoe…but whatever floats your boat!
Just kidding….it’s beautiful. I can’t wait to take a ride in it. Congrats man…now you need to help me pick out a bike!

Since my manliness has now been called into question, let me just suggest that you calibrate your monitor colors… for my boat is not pink. It is burgundy thank you very much! 🙂

Congrats on the canoe kenny. Looks awesome. I’d love to take a ride in it someday.
