The last week or so I’ve been experiencing writer’s block on this blog. Not the normal, run-of-the-mill writer’s block mind you, but the kind where you have something that you desperately want to write about and communicate and discuss, something that overshadows every other possible topic to blog, but for reasons beyond your control you just can’t.

I have been drowning in house “stuff.” The process of selling one home and buying another generates so much “stuff” to keep track of. Listing prices, offers, binders, contracts, realtors, commissions, attorneys, inspections, repairs, credits, mortgages, rates, loans, insurance, closing dates, moving costs… those are just the few that popped out of my head. There’s more. Lots more.

I’ve so wanted to blog about the details of our many transactions and the people involved and the frustrations, annoyances, bumps and blocks that have come our way – but I just can’t. Maybe it’s the superstitious Sicilian in me, but when it is something THIS BIG in your life, I feel as though talking about it too much will guarantee something going wrong. Don’t get me wrong, things are definetly headed in the right direction and we’ve overcome so many bad days to get to the light at the end of the tunnel. But, we’re not there yet. We can see the light, but can’t touch it.
